(BREAKING NEWS: Thursday, 5:19 p.m.) New Principal at Wilcox Central
Members of the Wilcox County Board of Education officially assigned Duane Hale to the position of “Principal” for Wilcox Central High School during a regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday night.
Mr. Duane Hale, a WCHS alum from the class of ’95 and former Administrator for Atlanta Public Schools in Georgia, formerly served as a teacher/coach/mentor for Clayton County Public Schools from August 1, 2002 to January 1, 2010 in Riverdale, Georgia.
“He knows what WCHS could be” said Superintendant Saulsberry, “and he’s got a good vision that we’d like to see accomplished.”
Mr. Hale’s role will become effective on July 18, 2016.
