Lambert announces Candidacy for City Council District 5

*Political - Les Lambert

Dear Citizens of Camden: My name is Leslie “Les” Lambert and on July 15, 2016, I filed a Statement of Candidacy as a Council Member for District 5 in the City of Camden. If you are a registered voter and live in District 5, I am asking for your vote on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. For those of you who may not know me, I was raised in Camden and my wife, Amanda Vick Lambert, and I are now raising our two children, Miller R. Lambert (13 years of age) and Emily H. Lambert (11 years of age) here in our hometown. I practice law in Wilcox County and surrounding counties and my law office has been located in Camden since June 1, 2001. I graduated from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in January of 2001 and took the Bar Exam in February of 2001 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in April of 2001. Before attending law school, I graduated from Auburn University in June of 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and from Wilcox Academy in May of 1992. My family and I are members of First Presbyterian Church of Camden, where I serve as a Deacon. In 2013, I was selected to participate in the Alabama State Bar’s Leadership Forum (Class 9). The primary focus of the forum was the importance of Servant Leadership in our communities. Camden is more than just my community, it is my home, and I want to serve the people of Camden. If elected, I will work for what is in the best interest of both the citizens of District Five and the entire community. I will be committed to listening and responding to the concerns and ideas of those I represent, and I will strive to be an effective voice and representative each time I enter City Hall as the Council Member for District Five. I humbly ask for your support and vote on August 23rd, and hope to serve as your new District 5 Council Member for the City of Camden. Thank you, Leslie “Les” Lambert
