BREAK-IN NEWS: (Wednesday, 11:00 p.m.) Yet another Break-In…No, seriously

At approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, a Subway restaurant in Camden was broken into and burglarized.

The suspect(s) gained entry to the business by breaking the front glass window.

Whoever it was got away with a whopping $150.00 in cash from the register. But that’s all the “dough” the perps were interested in.

No footlongs were compromised.

(the editor would now like to take a brief sidestep away from journalistic ethics for the sake of the community)

This has gotten out of hand, and it shows no sign of slowing down. So, i’m just gonna leave this nice tid-bit of information for the small handfull of business owners in this town who have NOT yet experienced a break-in. …”

2013 addition by Alabama Legislature

A person is also justified in the use of deadly force against someone who is “using or about to use physical force against an owner, employee, or other person authorized to be on business property when the business is closed to the public while committing or attempting to commit a crime involving death, serious physical injury, robbery, kidnapping, rape, sodomy, or a crime of a sexual nature involving a child under the age of 12.

Don’t be made a fool. Protect yourself. Protect your family. Protect your business.

Fire Away…”

JRD gets broken into so frequently that we’ve considered just leaving the doors open! My question to the burgers of both JRD and Subway is this- What are you hoping to find? No business keeps cash just lying around, and JRD isn’t a cash based business to start with. I mean, seriously, did you need office supplies? A highway cone, perhaps? Hey, I have an idea! How about come by during the day and fill out a job application!! Nah, that would be too much like right, huh?!

If one of these perps ever did get killed by a business owner I would have to say that is what you get for being stupid. I get so sick of hearing about these burglaries all the time. Someone needs to do something about this soon!

My home was broken into during the day… between 11 and 2… The thieves stole more than I can replace…. and NO nothing has been recovered…. if my memory serves me right…. this happened 4 years ago around this same time because it was election time and the man running for mayor was involved…. so like the election can we look forward to this every 4 years…. I believe some dummy items with tracking software or 230V hooked to the items need to be left out as bait, and see how they like being hurt or violated…. because trust me it doesn’t feel good to not feel safe in your own home! And I was just joking about the 230 volts…. I’m just a woman scorned!!!!
