Camden Christian Academy Begins new year

Camden Christian Academy is starting it’s 11th year of operation. There have been struggles but as Pastor Charles Autry, Headmaster, says God provides and allows us to remain open. They are different from other schools because they are Biblical based. They offer education to any student regardless of race, creed, origin or religion. The school does not offer athletics but instead focuses on academics and Biblical teachings. The school motto is “Seeking Truth and Academic Excellence.” The school averages a 50/50 ratio of ethnicity and have never had a racial fight and promote a family atmosphere.
The school opened in 2005 with 4 teachers and 3 students. Over the years they have enrolled as many as 50 in a single school year. This year there are only 22 students enrolled and 2 teachers. Carolyn Baldwin, Lower and Upper Learning Center, and Sandra Walker, Pre-K through 1st grade. Both teachers devote their love and attention to all the students to help them achieve their goals.
