(BREAKING NEWS: 6:45 p.m. Wednesday) Clifton girl walks away from 20 Ft. freefall after hitting deer

Grenea Bridges of Clifton not only survived a full-frontal collision with a deer on Hwy 162, but she also remained conscious after plummeting 20-feet, tires to the sky, into a ravine underneath a borderless, concrete bridge.

Bridges then kicked out the windows of her vehicle, and climbed to the top of the embankment into the waiting arms of family members and mystified medical personnel.

Her Grandfather, who lived within 50 yards of the crash, said “Now, that’s nothing but God there…she could’ve been dead, broke her neck, something.”

Bridges left the scene in an ambulance just for precautionary measures. X-rays were administered, only to find that she had absolutely ZERO broken bones or damaged organs.

The following morning, Ms. Bridges told our reporters she was “just a little sore with a few scratches” and confirmed that “Yes it wasn’t nobody but GOD and I just thank him for sparing my life. Its nothing I’ve done so great but he saw fit to keep me here.”

Hope they fix this area and put sides on this bridge! There are probably more of these brides on country roads in Alabama.
