(BREAKING NEWS: Today) E.G. Reaves interviewed on 98.5 “Dixie Country” Radio this morning

Elizabeth Grimes Reaves was interviewed this morning on WINL Dixie Country Radio 98.5 FM.

Reaves opened with information about tomorrow’s event regarding Miller’s Ferry, and the research findings that will be revealed. Reaves believes  “the economic impact it’s going to be huge, especially with all the fishermen. Admission is free, and open to the public. The seminar will be in Camden at the Gee’s Bend Ferry Terminal Tuesday, April 4th at 5:30.

Reaves was given the opportunity to remind listeners of other events happening in the Wilcox area:

2nd Saturdays in the Park will continue this weekend @ 3 PM to until “everybody’s ready to leave…”, Reaves said.

Mark Curl VII Annual BBQ Cook-Off will happen the 5th and 6th of May, “vendors, kids activities, and of course live music” will be a-plenty, Reaves said, “and lot’s of BBQ for tasting”

Reaves says the Chamber is “gearing up for fireworks,” alluding to Wilcox’s tradition of a Fireworks show every 4th of July on the Alabama River. Spectators can watch “right on the edge of shadow creek, or you can come by boat or by vehicle.”
