(BREAKING NEWS: Saturday, 5:45 P.M.) Fatal Accident near Oak Hill

At approximately 5:45 p.m. 911 dispatchers received a call from an unknown source in reference to a vehicle seen crashed against a tree along AL-21.

Pedestrians, as well as authorities mentioned that there were no witnesses to the actual crash, or when it took place.

The Wilcox Sheriff’s Dept. arrived with members of the Camden volunteer Fire Department, and several State Troopers.

A Wilcox County man was pronounced dead at the scene by coroner Mark Ramsey. At the time of this writing, the cause of death has been deemed indeterminable apart from injuries sustained as a result of the incident.

Sgt. Shephard, Trooper covering the Dallas’ County region, mentioned that a full and detailed report would be available to press as soon as investigations are sufficient.

Attempts have been made to contact family members.

This case is CURRENTLY under investigation. This publication will release photos of the damaged vehicle, as well as the identity and residing hometown of the deceased as soon as an official report has been finalized.
