Fred Sheffield

Sheffield, Fred, 85, a resident of Camden, AL died on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at New Bethel Cemetery in Braggs, AL with Reverend Chris Wells officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Sheffield was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Maggie Sheffield and brother, William Sheffield. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Millie W. Sheffield; brothers, Walter Sheffield (Agnes) of Hattiesburg, MS, John Sheffield (Betty) of Monroeville, AL; sisters, Emmie Bender (Sam) of Excel, AL, Sallie McGraw of Coy, AL, Mary Alice Maness (Marion) of Monroeville, AL; brother-in-law, Jim Wheeler (Margaret) of Braggs, AL; and host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to J. Paul Jones Hospital in Camden, AL or the New Bethel Cemetery Fund, c/o Derril Strickland, 15293 State Highway 21 South, Minter, AL 36761.
