James Lee Dailey of Camden, Alabama passed away on November 26, 2017 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. He had been battling a lengthy illness, and ultimately won his battle as a victor in the eternal Kingdom of our Lord.

Mr. James was born on August 31, 1950 to Mr. Willy Lee Dailey and Emily Elizabeth Felts Dailey. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sharon Kay Cogswell Dailey, three sons: Matthew Dailey (Laura), Steven Dailey (Jennifer), Andrew Dailey; five grandchildren: Emily Elizabeth, Mary Corinne, Mattox, Ava Lynn, Eilam Dailey; and two sisters: Kay Larrimore and Joy Duff.

Mr. James was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Billie McNiece, Beth Parker, and one brother: Randy Dailey.
James served in the United States Navy for 18 years, over which time he earned several honorable achievements. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, being loved by his pets, and above all, spending time with his grandchildren and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Visitation for Mr. James Dailey was held on Wednesday, November 29th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home in Camden, Alabama. Graveside services were held on Thursday, November 30th, at 11:00 a.m. at Enon Church Cemetery with Reverend Mike Yancey officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.
