Richard Rives Winters

Winters, Richard Rives, 56, passed away on February 5, 2018 after a long illness.
Richard was the fourth son born in Camden, AL on January 1, 1962 to Philip and Betty Winters of McWilliams. He graduated from Wilcox Academy where he was known as the only tuba player in the band and for his famous Elvis impersonations. He attended Reid State Technical College and was a talented draftsman, carpenter, and refinisher of antiques.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Elizabeth Rives Winters, and brother-in-law, Rommy Vistart. He is survived by his five siblings, Philip Mallo (Dale) Winters, Jr. of Pine Apple, Theresa Winters Vistart of McWilliams, Thomas Albert (Mitzi) Winters of Orange Beach, Victor Joseph (Lisa) Winters of Pine Hill, and Eugenia Winters (Chris) Stone of Pine Apple and many nephews and nieces.
The funeral service was held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at McWilliams Baptist Church. Brother Tommy Primm officiated and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL announced. Burial followed at McWilliam Baptist Church Cemetery.
