Mrs. Joanne Dean, age 56, passed away Sunday Dec. 9, 2018 at her home. Memorial Mass services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, at 11 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Eufaula. A Memorial reception celebrating her life will be held following Mass.
Born July 21, 1962 in Montgomery, Mrs. Dean was the daughter of the late Howard Rogers and Maud Hortence Corley, Sr. She was a devout catholic who loved to sing in the choir. She enjoyed volunteering her time and talents with many organizations but her favorite was at the Montgomery Zoo where she volunteered every year at ZooBoo on the Haunted Train Ride. She worked as a computer programmer for Colonial Bank and after retirement she and her husband traveled America by water on their boat making many wonderful memories.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Anthony Glenn Dean, Sr.; sons, Tony Dean, Jr., Adam Dean, Timothy Dean and Richard Dean; a daughter, Rebecca Dean; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Rogers (Roseanne) Corley and Charles (Nellie) Rogers and sister Mary Corley of Camden and numerous nieces and nephews.
