Mrs. Sharon Hollinger, 70, a resident of Camden, AL died at her home on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
The funeral service was held Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Camden United Methodist Church with reverend Brian Dovey officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden, AL directing.  Burial followed at the Camden City Cemetery.
Sharon was born on October 31, 1948 in Selma, Alabama and lived in Camden most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Richards, her father, Edward Leroy (E.L.) Richards, her sister, Frances Richards Meyer.
She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 50 years Fleetwood Gilbert Hollinger, III, her son, Fleetwood (Lindsay) Hollinger, IV, her daughter, Margaret (Marc) Hollinger Childers, four grandchildren, Celia Hollinger, Wood Hollinger, Bebe Childers and Skinner Childers.
Sharon graduated from Wilcox County High School in 1967 and from Judson College with a Bachelors Degree in Biology in 1970. She retired from the Department of Human Resources in 2009.
The family would like to thank Jean Pettway for all of her care, compassion and friendship to all of us during the past few years.
Pallbearers were Shannon Hollinger, Leo Hollinger, Wood Hollinger, Jay Beck, John Powell Webb and Albert Tait. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Bonnor, James Pearson, James Wallace, Tommy Richards, Johnny Webb, Butch Lovinggood, Gene Handley, Donny McLeod, Ed Davis and Peyton Buford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sharon’s name to the Camden United Methodist Church Building Fund, 127 Board Street, Camden, AL 36726 or Nicaraguan Christian Outreach C/O James Wallace, 208 Woodhaven, Minden, LA 71055.
