Mary “Eleanor” McKinley Baumgartel
November 28, 1926 –  March 12, 2020

Eleanor was the spokesperson and last living member of the WCHS class of ‘44. She passionately worked to hold their class together and took both great pride and pleasure in doing so.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Camden. She graduated from the University of Miami in 1952 while working full time and retired from AT&T as a Business Representative. Eleanor was also a beautiful, award winning dancer.
She was predeceased by her brother Marvin McKinley who was killed in WWII, buried in Camden Cemetery and her sister Dell Collins of Camden and New Mexico. She is survived by her son David W. Baumgartel and his wife Tina Anderson.
