Joseph Russell Liddell
September 11, 1955- May 22, 2020
Joseph Russell Liddell, 64, a resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Friday May 22, 2020.

Funeral services for Joe were held at 10:00am on Wednesday morning at the Camden City Cemetery with Reverend John Boles officiating. Dunklin Daniels Funeral Home, Directing. Pallbearers were James “Big Daddy” Lawler, Wes Kennedy, Frank McGraw, Edgar McGraw, Christopher McGraw, Hutson McGraw, Billy Davis and Rob Liddell. As a final goodbye from his loving friends a round of fireworks was set off to honor Joe’s love of firecrackers. The crowd cheered and clapped with the acknowledgment of his love for explosives.
Joe was born on September 11, 1955. He was the baby of the family, literally, barely weighing over 2 pounds at birth. He was the fourth child born to the late Robert Vance Liddell Sr. and Wenonah Dunnam Liddell. He is survived by two brothers, Roy Liddell (Felecia), Van Liddell (Carol) and one sister Diane Liddell Dyess (Steve) and many nieces and nephews. Joe left a legacy as a loyal friend, devoted cousin and lifelong companion to many that loved him.
Joe never let any life challenges slow him down from living life to the fullest of his ability. He lived life his way! Jesus called him home on May 22 and he will be missed by many, but we rejoice in knowing Joe is completely healed and in his eternal home.
The family would like to thank everyone for the food, phone calls, text and most of all your prayers during this past week. In lieu of flowers donations can me made to, Pilots for Christ 107 Airport Road Monroeville, Alabama 36460
