Mr. John Arthur Kirchharr, age 84, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home in Camden, AL.
Mr. Kircharr was a native and lifelong resident of Monroe County, AL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Deacon at Excel Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Minnie Lee Kirchharr; his son-in-law, Bobby Daniels; a brother, J.W. Kirchharr; and two sisters, Lucille Henry and Annie Ruth Hall.
Survivors include: his wife, Juanda Kirchharr of Camden, AL; two sons, Jeffry Kirchharr and wife, Donna of Monroeville, AL and Paul Kirchharr and wife, Sissy of Florence, AL; two daughters, Jeanie Maness and husband, Sammy of Camden, AL and Melody Daniels of Repton, AL; five sisters, Mary Lee Skinner of Bay Minette, AL, Thelma Bouler of Atmore, AL, Bernice O’Neal of Cantonment, FL, Daisy Rolland of Pensacola, FL and Lois Evers of Bay Minette, AL; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Excel Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Dovey, Dr. Shannon Moses and Rev. Jeffry Kirchharr officiating. Burial will follow at Excel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home.
