James Wilson Hager

Mr. James Wilson Hager, 79, a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Brewton, AL and Camden, AL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Camden, on Thursday, March 4, 2021. He was a retired Sprinkler Fitter with National Automatic Sprinkler Industry – UA Local 669 and former guard at Container Corporation of America in Brewton, AL. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to bass fish and was a member of the Brewton Bass Masters where he was Angler of the Year in 2000.
Mr. Hager was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Lula Mae Hagar, and a son, David Hager. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Baggett Hager of Camden AL; five children, Eddie Hager of Mobile, AL, John Hager of Mobile, AL, Frank (Tommie Sue) Standifer, Jr. of Colquitt, GA, LeAnn (Robert) Sapp of Trinity, FL, Lori (Darryl) Sessions of Camden, AL; sisters, Martha (Harry) McCollough of Mobile, AL, Mary (James) Keith of Mobile, AL; brother, Edward (Peggy) Hagar of Mobile, AL; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date in Brewton, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to The Micheal J. Fox Foundation or The Alzheimers Association – Alabama Chapter.
