Shadrach McNeal Sanders left us, to join his heavenly Father and family in heaven on June 13, 2022 in Mansfield, Texas. Shadrach was born July 23, 1956 in Catherine, Alabama. Shadrach is the son of the late Walter R. Sanders, Sr. and Gracie Mae Sanders. Shadrach graduated from Camden Academy, a scholar of numerous degrees and worked as an Accountant/Auditor for the Department of Defense for many years.

Shadrach is now at peace, joining his parents; Walter Sr. and Gracie and brother David L. Burrell.

Shadrach leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends: his wife of 38 years, Colleen M. Sanders, Mansfield, TX who affectionately called him “Shad”; they shared a great love, 4 children, Rhonda Pollard of Troy, AL; Corey (Cassandra) Sanders of Huntsville, AL; Branden Sanders of Mansfield, TX and Brian Sanders of Dallas, TX; 4 grandchildren, Chance Pollard, Ariel Pollard, Nathaniel Sanders and Malcolm Sanders; 5 brothers, Thaddeus (Mildred) Sanders of Catherine, AL; Lee Barren Sanders, Walter R. Sanders, Jr., Winfred (Bernadette) Sanders all of Birmingham, AL; and Lyndon (Rosita) Sanders of Tuscaloosa, AL; 7 sisters, Jeannette Hill of Birmingham, AL; Essie McMillian and Jacqueline Irby both of Atlanta, GA; Annie G. (Richard, Sr.) Mosley and Mattie (Charles) Dennis both of Catherine, AL; Frances M. (B. J.) Perkins of Arlington, AL; and Ruth M. (Vincent) Wilkinson of Bloomfield, CT; 3 brothers-in-laws, David Crews, Joshua (Tanyell) Crews and Ricky Crews all of Mobile, AL; 4 uncles; Charlie Sanders and Clifford (Deborah) Sanders both of Catherine, AL; Freddie (Jeri Dean) Sanders of Atlanta, GA; and Eddie (La June) Crews of Jackson, MS; 2 aunts; Sarah (Iris) Lawson of Atlanta, Ga and Pearline (Grant) Burrell of Birmingham, AL; a close childhood friend; Ralph Boykin of Selma, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends  and others whose lives Shadrach touched.

With deep sorrow, he’ll be sadly missed by his Beloved Dog “Red”, whom he loved spoiling immensely.

Shadrach celebrating of life service will be in person and live stream on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00am, at Mount Olive Baptist Church 301 West Sanford Street Arlington, Texas. Marks are required. Website: www.mount0livelivebc.net
