(BREAKING NEWS–1:40 PM) Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg “heard ya’ll had some good chicken.”

Management and staff at Jackson’s Chicken in Camden received two unexpected–but hungry–visitors this afternoon.

At approximately 1:40 pm, social-media entrepreneur and self-made billionaire, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, dropped into the popular fried chicken joint at the request of his wife, Priscilla Chan, who Zuckerberg said was craving “some good chicken.”

Rixine Jackson, owner of Jackson’s Chicken, told us that she “didn’t recognize him at first,” but eventually mustered up the courage and hospitality to approach the 5th richest man in the world. (Zuckerberg’s net worth is $53.6 billion)

Jackson also stated that the two travelers were just “passing through” Camden on a trip back from Mobile.

Mark and Priscilla were featured on local TV news stations last night describing their country-wide tour, which just so happened to begin in Mobile. You can see Mark’s own personal photos and summary of the trip HERE

Mark ordered the COB, while his wife enjoyed the traditional deliciousness that is and was Jackson Chicken’s very own fried chicken.
