(BREAKING: Sunday) Two Inmates attempt escape from hole in ceiling

Just before the dusk at approx. 7:35 Sunday evening. Two inmates housed within the Wilcox County Jail were seen crawling through a hole to the facility’s roof.

Deputies responded quickly to the scene.

Deputies Matt Till and Michael Cee arrived shortly after the call was placed, accordingly, by a civilian who first witnessed the two inmates escape attempt.
