Bishop Pettway leaves to mourn his passing, the love of his life for forty-nine years, Analizer Pettway. A beloved daughter, Dorian J. Pettway- (Edward) Bowman of Huntsville, AL. Two beloved grandchildren, Arianna and Ariel Bowman, also of Huntsville, AL. Three god-daughters; Deanna Thomas of Maryland; Kimberly Latrice Pettway of Bridgeport, CT; Yvonne Pettway of Bridgeport, CT; Two god-sons; Roosevelt Teddy Cobb III of Atlanta, GA; Joshua Lazarre of Bridgeport, CT.
Seven sisters; Peggy (Potie) Pettway of Mobile, AL; Edwina (Tony) Pettway of Loganville, GA; Caroline Williams of Huntsville, AL; Mary L. (Edwin) Gomes of Bridgeport, CT; Patsy (Bruce) McCaskill of Mobile, AL; Sandra (James) Alston of Mobile, AL; and Sally Mixon of Huntsville, AL.
Three brothers; Tank Jr. (China) Pettway of Boykin, AL; Edwin (Renee) Pettway of Far-Rockway, NY; and Cornelius (Latoya) Pettway of Douglasville, GA. Bishop Pettway also leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elijah and Hagga Pettway, and one sister Qunnie Pett.
Funeral Services for Bishop Pettway will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Ye Shall Know the Truth Baptist Church-11350 County Road-Alberta, Alabama with Apostle Lorenzo Pettway officiating. Bishop Pettway will be placed in the Church one hour prior to funeral time.
