Sara Lorraine Smith

Sara Lorraine Smith age 77, a homemaker, of Coy, AL died January 4, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. She was born January 2, 1948 in Vredenburgh, AL to Milton Bush and Marguerite Morgan Threadgill. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Coy, AL.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Bruce Smith; children, Sarah Dailey, Michael Smith (Christy), Milton Smith, Frances Pate, and Christine Smith; sister, Doris Threadgill; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Bush and Marguerite Morgan Threadgill; and sister, Faye (Tear) Sheffield.
Private graveside services were held at Coy Cemetery on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00 am with Rev. Tommy Primm officiating.
Active pallbearers were Alex Pate, Zachary Smith, Nick Dailey, Thomas Sims, Paul Sims, Chris Pate, and Drew Smith.
