Mrs. Barbara Jones Manning

Mrs. Barbara Jones Manning, age 82 of Monroeville, AL passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at her residence. She was a native of Caledonia, AL and graduate of Moore Academy in Pine Apple, AL. Mrs. Manning was the oldest member of Bear Creek Baptist Church.
She worked in the floral business for 65 years and owned and operated Johnson Flowers and Flowers by Barbara. Mrs. Manning loved and supported Monroe Academy for many years. Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her parents; Melton Jones and Lucille Lewis Jones; husband Farrish Manning; sister Inez Taylor and brother Max Jones.
She is survived by one son Mark (Jamie) Manning of Orange Beach, AL; sister Ernestine Floyd of Gainesville, FL; two grandchildren Jones (Abby) Manning of Fairhope, AL; Morgan (Robert) Moorer of Gulf Shores, AL and two great grandchildren Manning and Hallie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 12PM to 2PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 2PM at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne McMillan officiating and interment at Pineville Cemetery in Monroeville, AL with Johnson Funeral Home directing.
