Mary Nell Smith (Bailey)

Mary Nell Smith (Bailey) passed away on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, at Bethany House, Auburn, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayland Jackson Smith, sons Robert Wayland Smith and James David Smith. Brothers: Jack Bailey, Ronnie Bailey and Travis Bailey.
She is survived by her Daughter in-law Rita Smith (David Smith deceased), Grandchildren Candace Smith Caylor(Jack), Ilona Smith and Travis Jackson Smith. She was the proud Great Grandmother to Matison Nell Murphy (Candace).
Brother Roy Bailey (Dothan, Alabama), nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held on Friday, March 20th, 10:00 a.m. @ Enon Baptist Church, 6945 Alabama Highway 265, Camden, Alabama 36726 with Pastor Don Bell and Buford Gavin officiating the service.
